CAIR called ‘turnstile’ for terrorist suspects
‘Proven record of senior officials being indicted, imprisoned, deported from U.S.’
..a review of federal criminal court documents, past IRS 990 tax records and Federal Election Commission records detailing donor occupations, reveals that Washington-based CAIR has been associated with a disturbing number of convicted terrorists or felons in terrorism probes, as well as suspected terrorists and active targets of terrorism investigations.
“Their offices have been a turnstile for terrorists and their supporters,” said one FBI veteran familiar with recent and ongoing cases involving CAIR officials.
That’s what Andrew Whitehead has been saying for a long time on the website Anti-Cair.
Three CAIR officials have been linked to terrorism. But there are at least 11 other CAIR officials who have been caught up in terror investigations, bringing the total to 14.
Congressional leaders say they are warning lawmakers and other Washington officials to disassociate from the group, due to its growing terror ties.
“Groups like CAIR have a proven record of senior officials being indicted and either imprisoned or deported from the United States,” said U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., co-founder of the House Anti-Terrorism/Jihad Caucus.
CAIR itself recently was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in an alleged scheme to funnel $12 million to the terrorist group Hamas. In the Holy Land Foundation case, federal prosecutors also listed CAIR as a member of the U.S. branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide jihadist movement that gave rise to Hamas, al-Qaida and other terrorist groups. The government will retry the Holy Land case, which ended in a hung jury.
They should be fine, then, John Murtha was an unindicted co-conspirator in Abscam and nothing happened to HIM…
Hey. What can I say…these are great.
God forbid that anyone should be allowed to talk about the misery caused by a murderer. Because in leftyloonyland, it’s the murderer we need to have sympathy for. I was reading at Van Helsing’s and elsewhere about Mumia Abu-Jamal and his leftist adoring fans…when it should be the police officer, Danny Faulkner that we are thinking about as we approach another anniversary of his cold-blooded murder.
Mumia has the french crooning–he’s an honorary citizen in Paris, he’s even had a street named after him there.
Since being placed on death row a generation ago for murdering Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981, Abu-Jamal has given commencement addresses for UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, Antioch College, Occidental College, and Evergreen State College. NPR even had plans to pay him taxpayers’ money for commentary on the execrable program “All Things Considered.”
In leftyland, cop killers are to be adored. (Actually murderers in general, don’t forget Tookie Williams and candlelight vigils…) We don’t need police, we need more teachers. But as long as murderers, child molesters and pedophiles are given sympathy and few if any consequences, they will continue to walk our streets and terrorize our neighborhoods so that people will not let their kids out to play alone. Behavior rewarded is behavior repeated. This is one of the reasons why people would RATHER have their kids inside playing computer games, IMO. Because there are monsters waiting in the dark.
There is another cop killer adoring story that I’m aware of…the one of Mark McPhail. Troy Anthony Davis’ supporters are acting similar to Mumia’s. You rarely see any cop’s face in the cop killer adoring stories the drooling media put forth.
The cold hard truth is this:
Abu-Jamal shot Officer Faulkner in the back from about a foot away. His guilt isn’t even in question.
He is not only a cold-blooded cop killer, but a virulently anti-American black Marxist with dreadlocks who took on a Muslim name (he was born Wesley Cook). All of this makes him so sacred to moonbats that they are threatening to storm Rockefeller Center, enraged that Faulkner’s widow Maureen is scheduled to appear on the Today Show Thursday.
On Thursday, Danny’s widow, Maureen Faulkner, will be appearing on the Today Show to promote her new book: “Murdered by Mumia: a Life Sentence of Pain, Loss and Injustice.”
The Today Show people have no official comment, but according to an obscene cult calling itself the Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition (NYC), they are negotiating with the moonbats. If true, this would set a new MSM standard for contemptible cowardice.
And they’d be setting a new standard for bad taste. Isn’t it bad enough that this poor woman has had to endure years and years without her husband? Isn’t it bad enough what she had to endure after her husband’s cold blooded murder and then seeing these crazies cry for his murderer?
I hope there are people around her to give her moral support.
Shame on the Today’s Show for giving them an ear. They should shut them down and tell them that Maureen should have her chance to speak, unfettered by leftist stormtroopers. But that won’t happen; the media is infested with them.
May God bless Maureen Faulkner.
First, there’s the mask and the sunglasses.
And then there’s the Today’s Show interview and the analysis by experts of his body language…and the strange laugh he gave when asked to say something to Stacy if she’s watching.
“Come home,” the former Bolingbrook, Ill., police sergeant had responded with a laugh and a shrug. “Tell people where you are. That’s all I can say.”
It struck me strangely that he would kind of choke back a laugh and not even look into the camera.
It struck Stacy’s Uncle strangely, too…
“This is a guy, we’re told, who wouldn’t leave his wife alone. He followed her to college, he monitored her cell phones, he knew who she saw socially,” he said. “Number one, he ought to be able to say, ‘Here’s her cell phone records. Here’s the name of her boyfriend.’ Number two, he can’t give us one name, one example of who this mysterious person she may have run off with is.”
Then there’s the question of opportunity, Van Zandt continued, saying, “Nobody yet has raised a hand and said, ‘This woman who’s raising four children, going to college, keeping a household, being followed everywhere by her almost stalkerlike husband, would have time to develop a boyfriend.’”
Stacy Peterson’s uncle, Kyle Toutges, confirmed that observation in a separate interview on Thursday from Chicago with TODAY’s Meredith Vieira.
“None of us knew of another man,” he said, speaking for her family. “Her husband, Drew, was on top of her all the time, there was no way she had time to be with another man. He knew where she was every minute.”
Asked for his reaction to Peterson’s laughing request to his wife to come home, Toutges said, “He knew where she was, and he knew she ain’t coming home, that’s what it said to me.”
He sat there with his legs wide open in a defiant kind of a way and didn’t really answer questions directly. Some questions, he simply had no answer for, but all the while he was extremely cool and collected. Police are trained to convey messages, but this man seems conflicted. He doesn’t understand why people care about Stacy, it seems, he went on the Today’s Show with Matt Lauer to get the media off his back.
When he was supposed to look Matt Lauer in the eye, he didn’t do it very convincingly. He wants the media to leave him and his family alone, he said. I guess he can’t understand why people are looking for Stacy when he’s told them the unbelievable story that he believes she ran off with someone else.
The thing that he said that stuck with me is…’she’s where she wants to be’. And he doesn’t think she’s lost, so why should he go out and look for her?
Drew got over $1 million from the death of wife #3…although he claims it was put away for his children.
There is also talk of a blue barrel which a relative helped Drew remove from his home, that was ‘still warm’. This relative tried to commit suicide a few days later but Drew’s attorney poo-poo’s the story, saying the individual has a history of mental illness and alcohol abuse.
Reportedly, he called in sick the night of Stacy’s disappearance.
This is a funny one, when you stop to think about the things she’s slinging at the Obama compaign considering what the Clintons accomplished that last time they occupied the Whitehouse: a laundry list of criminal behavior.
“The problem for Clinton is that her campaign’s attempt to paint Obama as a calculating type who precociously hungered for the presidency runs the risk of reminding voters of some of the very questions they have about her, that she herself has wanted the presidency for decades and has plotted her course with that in mind,” (Frank James, Baltimore Sun)
LOL. No kidding.
