This is horrifying, from Aaron Klein, at WND:
Two cousins are now in Israeli custody and are suspected in the slayings. Ahmed Awad is an officer in Abbas’ Preventative Security Services in the northern West Bank city of Nablis. Iyad Awad is an officer in Abbas’ General Intelligence services in Ramallah.
Both the Preventative and General Intelligence services of Fatah are armed, trained and funded by the U.S.

Klein goes on to say that members of the Palestinian Authority or PA helped plan the attack on this family, saying Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the “military wing” of Abbas’ Fatah party, planned the attack on their own, separate from FATAH’s leadership- but the actual perpetrators were sleeper cells from Hamas. This shows cooperation between two supposedly rival organizations.
What is disturbing is FATAH has been named by the Obama administration as a “negotiating partner” for the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and has been receiving money and training for their militias from the US for a long time.
Palestinians handed out candy celebrating the murders.
And it is quite odd that initially I had seen where Obama denounced Israel’s response to the murders, which is to expand their settlements and build. I cannot find a thing about that now.
