(DIERSEN: In 1998, my attorney, Walter T. Charlton, in Washington DC, filed Diersen v. GAO, a class action lawsuit that charged GAO with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation. In 2000, the lawsuit was transferred to Chicago (SEE: http://www.adversity.net/FRAMES/more_diersen_source_G.htm). Peter Fitzgerald appointed both Patrick Fitzgerald, the attorney who represented GAO, and Amy St. Eve, the judge who decided the lawsuit. Sadly, if not tragically for me, Peter Fitzgerald, Patrick Fitzgerald, and Amy St. Eve all reject the equal opportunity plank in the Republican Party platform. They accept the Democrat and RINO argument that TODAY, discrimination and retaliation against Whites, against males, and especially against older White males is justified because YESTERDAY, minorities and females were discriminated against.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is said to be on the short list to replace FBI Director Robert Mueller, and that has Sen. Mark Kirk worried. Fitzgerald has been the U.S. Attorney in Chicago for 10.5 years. Kirk said Fitzgerald is needed in the region and would be greatly missed if he gets promoted. Fitzgerald could face republican opposition for the position because of his prosecution of Scooter Libby, an aide to Vice President Dick Cheney. Mueller will depart as FBI director in September.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Rutledge, who has a background in real estate and is a 40-year resident, was one of 11 applicants the council was considering. However, three of those applicants were disqualified due to issues with residency requirements. Officials then narrowed the search to four before a final decision was reached, Gresk said. Rutledge said he had interest in running in the last election, but decided not to when certain conflicts arose. When the opportunity came up to fill Levine’s seat, though, he was in a better position to take on the responsibility.)

(DIERSEN: According to http://www.zillow.com, my DuPage County home has lost 39% of its value since 2008. How much value has your home lost?)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: For the first time in 40 years, the overall value of property in DuPage County has dropped – and by almost 6 percent, a reflection of a housing market that has plummeted in the past few years. “This is the first time in modern-day history that the county’s assessed valuation decreased in a year,” County Clerk Gary King announced Tuesday. “We’ve been on an uphill climb from the beginning, growing like crazy. Now because of the fallout of the whole market, we’ve actually gone down.” Despite a historic drop in the value of land last year, King said, homeowners can expect to pay more on their property tax bills. While average assessed property value dropped 5.9 percent, the average tax rate for DuPage’s 372 taxing bodies – the other half of the tax equation – jumped 11.6 percent. The net result: an average 5.7 percent countywide property tax increase. “The tax bills are going up a little bit, but there was no growth,” said King, adding the total number of taxable parcels countywide fell slightly from 334,837 in 2009 to 334,715 in 2010. “No one is building is anything new.” King stressed that just because the value of someone’s home dropped it doesn’t mean the person will pay less property taxes.)

Since 1995, I have driven my 1996 Thunderbird only 20,624 miles. Since 2005, I have driven my 2005 Corvette only 334 miles. Since 2010, I have driven my 2003 Caviler only about 3,700 miles. Since the beginning of last year, altogether, I have driven those cars only about 6,500 miles.)
(DIERSEN: Because the Chicago Sun-Times does everything it can to discourage conservative individuals, organizations, and companies from reading, buying, and advertising in its newspaper, the Chicago Sun-Times is not in business to make a profit. QUESTION: So why does the Chicago Sun-Times exist? ANSWER: To a) drive conservative individuals, organizations, and companies out of Illinois and b) elect Democrats and RINOs.)

ILLINOIS FAMILY INSTITUTE
(DIERSEN: To oppose SB 1619 is to defend and advance the social planks in the Illinois Republican Party (IRP) platform. Why hasn’t your Republican state representative, state senator, U.S. Senator, precinct committeeman, township/ward/county officers, IRP State Central Committee member, Tom Cross, Christine Radogno, Rich Williamson, Demetra DeMonte, Pat Brady, etc. published articles like this? How many of them would say something like “I don’t want to make the Democrats mad” or “I don’t want to make the gays mad?” What percent of IRP leaders a) promote homosexual activity and b) lack what it takes to oppose the promotion of homosexual activity?)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The poorly written, poorly thought-out, partisan “comprehensive sex ed” legislation concocted by State Senator Heather Steans (D-Chicago) should be roundly rejected. SB 1619, otherwise known by its obfuscatory title, “Personal Responsibility Education Act,” is yet another attempt by legislator-ideologues to use public money to normalize sexual immorality and perversion by inculcating children and teens with subjectivist, relativist assumptions about sexuality. SB 1619 requires the following: Provides that each class or course in comprehensive sex education offered in any of grades 6 through 12 shall include instruction on both abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS (instead of instruction on the prevention, transmission, and spread of AIDS). Removes a provision that requires all public elementary, junior high, and senior high school classes that teach sex education and discuss sexual intercourse to emphasize that abstinence is the expected norm. Provides that all public elementary, junior high, and senior high school classes that teach sex education and discuss sexual intercourse shall satisfy specified criteria (instead of all sex education courses that discuss sexual intercourse shall satisfy specified criteria); makes changes to that criteria. . .Provides that the State Board of Education shall make available resource materials for educating children regarding sex education and may take into consideration the curriculum on this subject developed by other states, as well as any other curricular materials suggested by education experts and other groups that work on sex education issues. Provides that materials may include without limitation model sex education curriculums and sexual health education programs. . .Provides that the Comprehensive Health Education Program shall include the educational area of evidence-based and medically accurate information regarding sexual abstinence (instead of the area of sexual abstinence until marriage). The term “comprehensive sex ed” is a euphemism intended to convey positive connotations of wholeness and completeness. But as usual with sophistry, it is a deceit. The truth is comprehensive sex ed is incomprehensive, distorted and propelled by a subversive sexual ethic. Comprehensive sex educators seek to tell kids everything possible about sex except of course anything that challenges their subjectivist, relativist presuppositions and libertine social and political goals. Below are a few of the “medically accurate” notions that comprehensive sexperts from the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS) think our children need to know. All of the following bulleted points are direct quotes from the “Guidelines for Comprehensive Sexuality Education,” which is the bible of the comprehensive sex ed movement. Unless, conservatives create a firestorm of opposition, this is what’s coming to Illinois public schools:)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: But a 2009 report from the Government Accountability Office provides some insight on how such uncertainty can limit management flexibility and increase employees’ workload. Denise Fantone, a GAO director of strategic issues who worked on the report, said her agency has not studied the current situation. But the report studied data from 1999-2009 to come to some conclusions about the overall effect of continuing resolutions on government operations. Each agency is affected differently, Fantone said in a recent interview. Regulatory agencies, for example, may collect funding from nongovernment sources and thus feel the effects of a short-term CR less.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A century’s worth of population growth in Detroit has evaporated. Census data released Tuesday show African-Americans’ flight to the suburbs fueled a faster-than-expected exodus that cut Detroit’s population by 25% over the past decade to 713,777, its lowest level since the dawn of automobile mass production in the 1910s. The federal government broke its promise to increase its pension payments to keep up with inflation. The federal government failed to increase my federal pension during 2010 and 2011 even though my federal health insurance premiums increased by $2,400. Also, potential retirees should be concerned about being increasingly demonized and denigrated by those who do not have pensions. If current trends are not reversed, you can expect roving mobs of people who do not have pensions a) to picket your home, b) to demand that you give them money, and c) to take stronger actions against you.)

(FROM THE PRESS RELEASE: In response to a bill (S. 644) before Congress that would eliminate pensions for all new government hires, Joseph A. Beaudoin, president of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), released the following statement today: “This bill is another unfair and unwise attack on federal employees at a time when the country desperately needs a high quality and vigilant work force. Some politicians claim that these pensions are unsustainable, but, in actuality, the federal pension program is fully funded, actuarially sound and paid for largely by federal employees themselves. “Changes to policies that affect federal employees threaten the future of the vital services they perform. Without employment packages that are competitive in the professional marketplace, our government will struggle to attract the best workers to protect us. “Considering the importance of the federal meat inspectors in Kansas who ensure our food is safe or the U.S. nuclear regulators who now are working in Japan to avert a nuclear catastrophe, we can ill-afford to shy away from support for our nation’s federal workers.”)
