This article is rather interesting considering what Obama’s own relatives and childhood friends recall about his being a muslim.

The Obama camp unveiled its new plan to fight rumors that have dogged the candidate and his wife, Michelle, since the Dem jumped into the fray. The website, http://www.fightthesmears.com, is a forum for the campaign to contest notions that, thus far, the candidate has attempted to swat away along the campaign trail.

He was most recently had to assure Jewish voters in South Florida at a town hall meeting that he’s not a Muslim, for example. “If you get one of these emails that says I’m a Muslim, not true, never been a Muslim, this is just stuff that is designed to make people suspicious,” 

No, it’s not designed to make people suspicious.  We’re suspicious because you’re surrounded by marxist revolutionaries and your “former” church of 20 years in fact teaches a marxist black separatist philosophy.

We should be taking a careful look at our candidates, because a tremendous amount of responsibility and trust is placed on the individual holding the presidential office.

What is “designed” is the Obama campaign, which has been carefully crafted to make him appear more appealing to the American public.

He can claim he’s not a muslim and has never been one all day long, it doesn’t take away from the facts as we’ve seen them.

Covington called Larry’s mother, demanding money back in April.  Now isn’t that called extortion?

Extortion, outwresting, or exaction is a criminal offense, which occurs, when a person unlawfully obtains either money, property or services from a person, entity, or institution, through coercion. 

Coercion is the practice of compelling a person or manipulating them to behave in an involuntary way (whether through action or inaction) by use of threats,intimidation or some other form of pressure or force. 

Did he honestly think that his threats would get him anywhere?

Covington was angry and abusive over the phone and didn’t answer her questions.  He simply demanded to get money back that ‘his mother’ donated to Larry’s legal fund.  Larry’s mom said he should contact the attorney…but that wasn’t good enough for Covington.

The number that was used to call her was the phone number for Covington’s piano store.

How in the world could Covington be that stupid?

One has to wonder if his family created a monster by allowing him to behave this way as a kid.

But now he’s a full grown man, and should be held responsible for his actions.  There is no excuse for this.

Well, within minutes of my posting that Mitch the “french” blogger from the Mitch and Nan Show is in fact Scott Covington of Houston, Texas, suddenly my regular blog went down.

Mitch from the Mitch and Nan Show, is, in fact, Scott Covington - who has a rap sheet, as it turns out.

Isn’t it amazing the hypocrisy of leftists these days.?

Undeniably according to my sources, Mitch from the Mitch and Nan Show, who has been harassing me, my family and others- and even emailed me after I told him to stop - is Scott Covington, who is promoting a radio appearance sometime this weekend or shortly thereafter.

At first when the Mitch and Nan show set their blog for French time, they set it for Bangkok time. Mitch the supposed frenchman is a goldbrick crapper from Houston Texas, a criminal embarrassment to his multimillionaire parents…whose IP address was showing up as Texas until his friends showed him how to reroute it from Amsterdam.

The 832-331-5624 number he is using as a contact number is registered to one Scott Covington of Houston, Texas, according to my sources (which are pretty darned solid).

Phone Company: NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS PCS, LCC - TX PCS

Scott Covington himself has a criminal record in Missouri for passing bad checks (looking for the dates for this now) and for felonious theft in Texas according to the report, in 1989 (looking for more detail on this, too). I wonder if this evidence will disappear from public records as other evidence has, I’m surprised that smartypants Covington hasn’t covered his tracks better.

It’s apparent that the Mitch and Nan Show blog doesn’t want to disparage their own “french” blogger by putting any of the other rich details contained in this post on their blog.

Since Scott posted my full social security number, unlisted phone number, and similar details about my neighbors, former neighbors and relatives, and even former inlaws and my former father-in-law who passed away some years ago now, in addition to people who have the same name as I do from across the country (in an attempt to imply I have a rap sheet), a phone number and revealing the truth about Covington seems rather insignificant in comparison, but aproppos.

There are some strange points on this video.  If America is a dictatorship, then why isn’t Obama -instead of going through the normal election procedure - just staging a coup, like his ideological brother, Hitler, or any of the other socialist dictators?

What Qadhafi leaves out is that dictatorships don’t exist in republican forms of government, neither do they exist in democracies.

What a twisted reality this guy shares with that of people like Farrakhan…who received his message about Reagan’s plan about Libya from little green men in a spaceship.

It’s REALLY hard to figure out just when exactly Butt is telling the truth; he’s come out with three different points of view inside of a 10-year period; maybe everything he says is peppered with lies. He was an outspoken spokesperson for al-muhajirun, then he ‘reformed’ and now he’s claiming he made it all made up. This is just too convenient, since the reason he started singing like a bird THIS time is because he was on his way to Pakistan and was detained by the MI5. Apparently, he must have thought that if he renounced terrorism, then he would be given a pass - but it appears there are some Britons who would like to see him pay for the crimes he has committed.

So no problem, “I lied!”

And all is forgiven, right?

It’s too bad, because it seemed that…for just a short while…he had come to his senses. He was even working on a book about his turnaround, called “Leaving Al Qaeda”, and being that he’s been interviewed by the BBC, CBS, Prospect magazine and The Sunday Times, it should come as no surprise that they’re all resisting turning over to the court- the material like notes they took during the course of their interview work on Butt. The police themselves, according to the journalists who want to protect Butt, will be under scrutiny for their counter terrorism work. I find that hard to believe with all his public admissions he made early on and all the crazies associated with al-Muhajidun, some of whom are in jail - and at least one who is waiting to be extradicted. Journalists were not interviewing a lone young man - there were others in the interviews, who seemed to verify what it was he was saying, and surely journalists wouldn’t have swallowed a complete line of BS, now, would they? They seem all too eager to promote the lies of terrorists as long as the lies come out to the terrorists’ benefit.

AIM asked Was CBS Duped by Radical Islamist? Yeah…but it’s hard to tell precisely what about this thing is a lie.

Hassan Butt was arrested at the end of May 2008 while he was trying to board a flight to Pakistan held for questioning, and finally released in early June. Interestingly enough, my fairly recent fight on youtube with an islamist that has claimed the al-muhajirun name on youtube - but has a NUMBER for an account name - out of London - was what drew my attention to this; as I had THOUGHT that the al-Muhajirun organization was supposed to be ‘defunct’.

It’s funny how bloggers are attracted to certain stories while they ignore updates on stories they’ve blogged about in the past….it feels like a high school contest for Homecoming Queen sometimes…what blogs get links, what blogs are noticed by the bigger bloggers, etc.

At any rate, I found the Butt story rather interesting and it fit right into the war I’m waging against the Islamist on youtube - who - in my opinion, should have his account revoked for spreading terrorist propaganda.

A call for America’s churches to step up as witnesses for the truth about the Flight 93 memorial

Three segments of American society get paid to investigate and report facts: academia, the press, and government. For two and a half years, all three have been spinning desperately to avoid and suppress the facts about Islamic and terrorist memorializing symbolism in the Flight 93 memorial.

Luckily there is a fourth segment of society that is also charged to witness truth, not for pay, but on religious principle. Asked by Pilate to account for himself, Jesus answered:

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. [Jn. 18:37.]

Those who follow Jesus are supposed to do the same, which means first of all checking and reporting the facts when the importance of an issue warrants it.

The importance of the Flight 93 memorial to our churches could not be clearer. The Islam of the al Qaeda terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 is a religion of murder and deceit. Their self-professed strategy is to hide amongst us, pretending to be trustworthy friends, while plotting mass-murder against Christians, Jews, and all non-Muslims.

Whether this religion of deceit is the “true” Islam, as the bin Ladenists assert, or a bastardization of it, a deceptive memorial to the 9/11 terrorists is a direct challenge to the truth witnessing capacity of our society, and to the truth witnessing character of our Christian churches.

In a contest between deceit and honesty, there is no doubt which is stronger. Witness exposes and destroys deceit. If our churches enter this contest, they win. But will they enter? THAT is the test. If our churches stand by, and fail to witness truth, then the al Qaeda religion of murder and deceit may well succeed in stabbing its terrorist memorial mosque into the heartland of America.

In consultation with Tom Burnett Sr., Alec Rawls has put together a flyer that all of us can take to our local churches to try to organize sanctioned fact-checking efforts that our churches can stand behind publicly two months from now.

August 2nd is the next public meeting of the Memorial Project. Tom and Alec will both be traveling to Somerset PA to rally opposition. Mancow Muller is urging his national radio audience to attend, and groups like Rolling Thunder are also being contacted.

With Mr. Burnett in attendance, even a modest turnout will bring substantial news coverage, but coverage alone is not enough. We are facing a fact-checking blockade by the mainstream media, and can only break it by enlisting churches or other independent groups to sponsor their own fact checking efforts.

Are you a member of any kind of group where interested members could set up an ad hoc committee to check a few basic facts about the planned memorial? The full group or chapter could then make an official decision whether to stand behind this fact checking publicly in a press release that Tom and Alec can announce at the August meeting.

Christian churches may be our best bet, being charged by Jesus to be witnesses for truth, and having “chapters” all over America. Thus this initial effort is addressed in particular to our churches, but any group that wants to expose important truths can perform the same service.

The father of one of our Flight 93 heroes is asking America’s churches for help.

Remember the Crescent of Embrace design for the Flight 93 memorial, laid out in the configuration of an Islamic crescent and star flag?

Outrage over this clear Islamic symbolism forced the Memorial Project to agree to make changes, but all they did was slightly disguise the giant crescent. It is still described as a “broken circle,” and the unbroken part of the circle (the crescent) remains exactly as it was.

It turns out that this half-mile wide crescent points almost exactly to Mecca. A crescent that Muslims face into to face Mecca is called a mihrab, and is the central feature around which every mosque is built. The Flight 93 memorial will be the world’s largest mosque by a factor of a hundred.

The design also includes numerous terrorist memorializing features, like the 44 inscribed translucent memorial blocks that are to be placed along the flight path (matching the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists). Tom Burnett Sr. does not want Tom Jr.’s name inscribed on that terrorist memorializing sequence, and is leading the effort to have the crescent design scrapped completely.

The obstacle is the three parts of our society that we pay to check and report the facts: academia, the press, and government. All three are spinning desperately to keep the truth suppressed here. On the rare occasion when the Mecca-orientation claim or the 44 blocks claim gets in the newspaper, some left-wing academic or a spokesman for the Memorial Project is quoted denying it, but the press never checks and reports the facts.

It takes less than two minutes to verify that the giant crescent DOES point to Mecca. Just open up the Mecca-direction calculator at Islam.com and print out the direction to Mecca from Somerset PA (ten miles from the crash site). Place it over the crescent site-plan on your computer screen, and you’ll see that the Mecca direction line bisects the crescent:

It is even easier to verify the 44 glass blocks on the flight path: just open up the design drawings and count. It is easy to check the numerous repeated Mecca orientations; the placement of the 9/11 date in the exact position of the star on an Islamic flag; etcetera.

Please volunteer for this fact-checking effort, and help to promote it amongst pastors and parishioners. America needs its First Estate (its churches) to take a leading role, and witness the truths about this terrorist memorial that our media elites are trying to hide.

From the post I put up at CB earlier today. The video is one my son and I took when we went to DePaul for their protest against Chris Simcox of the Minutemen. They believe in groupthink; anything that is “different” would mean intellectual diversity - and they DON’T WANT THAT.

Ben Stone with ACLU of Iowa released this statement Tuesday:

The ACLU of Iowa strongly condemns the unnecessary use of criminal prosecutions to coerce hundreds of foreign-born workers detained in the recent raid in Postville, Iowa into waiving their rights to individually demonstrate why each of them should be allowed to remain in the U.S.

Of the 390 workers reportedly detained, nearly three hundred are from Guatemala, a country known for its human rights abuses. A civil deportation proceeding is the best way to address immigration cases, and each case needs to be handled on an individual basis. By converting the meatpacking plant raid into a mass criminal prosecution, the government is wasting precious legal resources and giving short shrift to the American right of due process, which belongs to all persons, not just citizens.

From the information the ACLU of Iowa has been able to gather, it appears that detainees are not receiving adequate time to meet with their lawyers, and that defense attorneys are being overwhelmed requests to represent far more clients than is advisable - or perhaps even ethical. We are concerned that the sheer size of this raid is likely to result in numerous violations of the U.S. Constitution, which protects the due process rights all persons in this country. It is our understanding that detainees are being threatened with prosecution if they do not waive their right to an individualized deportation hearing and that they may be forced to do so with only minimal opportunity to speak with defense counsel.

While justice delayed is justice denied — justice in haste lays waste.

The ACLU of Iowa recognizes that the United States, like every nation, has the right to control who enters the country, to enforce the integrity of its borders, and to set immigration policy. However, the ACLU of Iowa also believes that this policy needs to be consistent with our American values of fairness, and the tradition of welcoming immigrants. While our government can determine immigration status and enforce immigration laws, it should act fairly, humanely and in accordance with our constitutional norms of due process and equal protection and adhere to U.S. obligations under international law.

POSTVILLE — Monday’s immigration raid at Agriprocessors was the result of almost eight months of investigation, according to U.S. Attorney Matt Dummermuth.

The probe included interviews with former illegal workers and an undercover source who landed a job at the plant and sometimes wore a recording device, court records show.

Agents with the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Agriprocessors had 833 workers with suspicious Social Security numbers pulling a paycheck in the third quarter of 2007.

All 833 employees were found to have either used invalid Social Security numbers or numbers not their own, said an application ICE agents submitted to secure a search warrant of the facility.

They completely let some of the women go because of ‘humanitarian concerns’–they had small children.
